When is the best time to schedule a newborn photography session?
The ideal time for a newborn session is within the first 5-14 days after birth. During this period, babies are typically more sleepy and easier to pose, allowing us to capture those precious curled-up poses.
How should I prepare for the newborn session?
I recommend feeding your baby just before the session to ensure they are sleepy and content. Dress your baby in loose clothing to avoid marks on their skin. Feel free to bring any special outfits, props, or sentimental items you’d like to include.
How long does a newborn session typically last?
Newborn sessions can last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, comforting, and posing your baby without any rush. We work at the baby's pace to ensure a comfortable and relaxed experience.
Can parents and siblings be included in the photos?
Absolutely! Including parents and siblings adds a beautiful, personal touch to the session. I encourage family involvement and can capture a variety of poses with everyone together.
What safety precautions do you take during the session?
Your baby’s safety is my top priority. I’m a certified newborn photographer trained in safe posing techniques. I use sanitized props and blankets, and I’ll always have a spotter or parent close by during poses.
How soon after the session will we receive our photos?
You can expect to receive your edited photos within 2 to 3 weeks after the session. I’ll provide you with a gallery of beautifully edited images from which you can select your favorites for printing or albums.
How do I book a session and what’s required to reserve my date?
To book a session, simply contact me to check availability around your due date. A deposit of Php 1,000 is required to secure your session, with the remaining balance due on the day of the shoot.
Do you offer home service shoots?
Yes, I offer home service for newborn photography sessions, allowing you to have your baby’s first photos taken in the comfort of your own home. This is a great option for new parents who prefer a relaxed environment without the need to travel. I bring all the necessary equipment, including lighting, props, and wraps, to create a professional and cozy shoot right in your living space.
Depending on your location, there will be an additional fee to cover travel and setup time. I’ll discuss this with you during the booking process so you have a clear understanding of any additional costs.
